Owners Angelynn Hanley and Reese Richardson share a lifelong love of horses. Angelynn grew up riding with her siblings and neighbors in North Carolina and Reese is a true country boy from East Tennessee.
Before moving our business to this facility about a year and a half ago, Rockin R Horse Farm was a breeding and trading operation dealing primarily in Spotted Saddle and Tennessee Walking horses. We appreciate these breeds for their smooth gate, colorful coats and pleasant personalities. Reese also has a fondness for and experience training and breeding Arabian horses.
We moved Rockin R Horse Farm to this larger and more visible location hoping to create a real community where we can share our passion for horses with people we can learn from and who can learn from us. Our focus is to provide a family environment where parents and children can come together to learn. Children today seem to be disconnected from their parents and the outdoors and appear to be more focused on video games, MP3 players, and texting. We feel our stable is a way for them to reconnect with family and all of the wonderful things nature has to offer.

We offer reasonable monthly rates for both stall and pasture boarding. We also have space available for overnight stabling or layups for our neighbors or individuals traveling through the area.
We focus on providing top quality care. Each horse boarded with us is offered every service and consideration to preserve their health and well being. We maintain routine worming, vaccination, and hoof care schedules. Dental care and chiropractic services are scheduled as requested. We treat all horses as if they were our own.
We are in the process of redeveloping our training and lesson program to include a variety of riding disciplines (western pleasure, dressage, hunt seat, trail, reining, etc). We also plan to offer educational workshops, clinics, and summer camps to local schools and organizations.
The arenas are available for lease by community and private organizations for events such as clinics, team roping, horse shows, or cuttings. We also offer use of the facilities for haul-in to those needing to exercise their horse or prepare for spring riding or show season.
